If you happen to be checking the class blog….. I hope you are having a fabulous summer vacation. I am still at my summer cottage for a few more days. On Saturday I will fly to Miami to meet all the new teachers and we arrive into Barcelona together on Monday evening. Dr. Mancuso and Mrs. Cave are both already back at school getting things organized for the start of the school year. There have been changes and improvements made to the MS/HS building area. I can’t wait to see it all myself. As you all know I won’t teach grade 5 next year. That will be Mr. Corey, who is also a Canadian! As we start the school year you will see me helping out all the new teachers, getting them acquainted with CIPLC, their positions and you all. My new position is called Curriculum Co-ordinator. I will miss getting a classroom all ready. I did find a really neat website that you and your parents might like. It give some ideas on what you can do at home to get organized for the upcoming school year. Click here for some fun ideas. I can’t wait to see everyone on the first day of school!

International Day is tomorrow!!!!! We are representing Colombia and will present a three part dance in the school wide showcase. See you in the Gecko Dome for showtime which starts at 11:15am. After that tour the country booths and sample foods from all over the world.
